RAZOR tread and sidewall skiver systems represent the original design innovation for cut tread, sidewall and apex production. Highly reliable and rugged, these systems can be supplied in various widths and configurations. Depending on your process requirements, our servo-controlled skivers are available as a start-stop type or flying-cut type.
RAZOR tread skiver systems are designed to be seamlessly integrated with the flow of your tire production process. Using a stop/start type with integrated loop control or a flying cut type, we have a system to fit your process. Using servo motion control for both the conveyors and the cutter head, our skivers are designed to achieve tight process tolerances.

Our skiver systems are suitable not only for treads, but sidewall, apex and more. These system can be supplied with water blow off systems, check weighers, end cementing systems, and fully automatic booking systems. The configuration is adaptable to your requirements.
